This bar is as strong as it says…I bought it only because I thought it came with the original hitchmate bar that I purchased from Sportsmans guide for my husbands pickup…I thought it was a packaged deal but the divider bar is sold separately. Even so both are a good deal!

Seems good and sturdy but I had to return it because it would only work with a HitchMate bar. Other manufacturers bars are round but HitchMate is square. I can’t say it’s a bad item but it just wasn’t for me.
